This Isle of Jura is a Single Malt Whisky from Scotland. More precisely, the whisky comes from the Islands.
For the production of this whisky
The whisky was made from malted barley. Thanks to maturation in Bourbon casks, toffee and caramel play a role in the bouquet of this whisky. While the finish brings out dried fruit notes and spice aromas. The whisky was bottled at a rather restrained 40% ABV, ensuring a mild taste. However, if you want to try a more intense and robust version, look for independent bottlings of Isle of Jura from bottlers like Signatory.
